Dr. Tolgahan Çoğulu
invented the Mikrotonal Guitar in 2008. He published two CDs (Atlas and İki Elin Sesi) and two books
(The Adaptation of Bağlama Techniques into Classical Guitar and Einführung in die Musiktheorie- i.e.
Introduction into the theory of music). Çoğulu became Associate Professor in 2013 and he teaches now at Turkish State Conservatory
(TMDK) and at Center for Advanced Studies in Music (MIAM) at the Technical University of Istanbul (İTÜ)
Sinan Cem Eroğlu
is a musician, composer, arranger and instrumentalist. He has participated in numerous concerts, films, film series, albums and television
programs in Turkey and abroad with fretless guitar, acoustic and electric guitars, kaval, and kopuz. He published four CDs
(Tesadüf, Ocak, Hane-i Akustik, Microtonal Guitar Duo). Appeared on Mezzo and BBC, gave workshops about Turkish Music and
Fretless Guitar in Germany and Netherlands, worked as a lecturer at music theory department at the Turkish State Conservatory (TMDK)
at the Technical University of Istanbul (İTÜ).
