LIFE
Haydar Kutluer grew up in a family where Bağlama-playing was already passed on to young children.
His father taught him to play the instrument when he was seven years of age; and he attended several music
schools afterwards. His open-mindedness enabled him not only to play traditional Turkish pieces, but also
to gather experience with other musicians of the most varied genres.
In the year 2000, Haydar Kutluer took up studies at the Conservatory of Turkish Music Berlin, where he partnered
with renowned musicians at numerous international concerts. Since June 2012, he has been teaching the Bağlama (Saz)
at this Turkish conservatory in the city of Berlin.
